The Magic of Spring

Hopefully you had the opportunity to witness the first full moon of spring which blessed us with its presence on April 5th. It’s nicknamed the pink moon for the wild pink flowers that bloom with spring.

As I gazed upon April’s full moon, I felt gratitude for the magic of spring, not just this special pink moon and the blooming of spring flowers but the fruition of intentions planted in winter, for me specifically on New Year’s Eve.

On December 31st, I set an intention to have my home be a sanctuary for my family and allow me to have a home studio for clients and an expansive outdoor space for classes. I’d been thinking about this for a few years. Finally, I set the intention to create this by March 1st. I planted the seed and was ready to bloom this spring.

Looking for places quickly brought doubts and worries. Would I find the right place? Would I be able to do it? Was it financially feasible? While I was wavering, an extraordinary thing happened. At the time, I didn’t think it was so extraordinary. . . I thought it was stressful.

A leak was found in the slab of my apartment . . . I was given a 60 day notice to move out.

A fire was lit under me.

Within 2 weeks, I had found a place that met all my criteria. It was perfect. Not only that, my financial concerns were covered by insurance and relocation funds.

Doubts and worries dissolved. I was ready to bloom.

So as I sit here in my family’s sanctuary under the light of the Spring Pink Moon, I am reminded of a quote by Margaret Elizabeth Sangster.

“Never yet was a springtime, when the buds forgot to bloom.”

The magic of spring is experiencing the full boom of the seeds you’ve planted.

What’s been planted in your heart that is ready to blossom this spring?

This is your time. No bud forgets to bloom. Find your magic.
