Gratitude Unlocks the Fullness of Life

At this time of year, it is good to reflect on what you are grateful for in your life. For many, this time of the year increases anxiety and stress and wreaks havoc on the holidays. Whether you are stressed to be around family or feel pressure from the commercialized spendy frenzy this season, pause and take some time to ask yourself what you are grateful for this year. When you are in gratitude, you release fear and come into the fullness that is you.
"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity . . . It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow." This quote by Melody Beattie really speaks to the transformation that gratitude is in my life.
This year I as grateful for so much . . . my two beautiful children and our sweet pup, my family spread all across the world, friends, old and new, near and far, my community, my clients. I am grateful to my parents and to all of my teachers and mentors who have helped me on my journey called life. I am grateful to keep learning and keep sharing the healing power of our own bodies and minds.
This holiday season, I invite you to take some time to think about and maybe even write down what and who you are grateful for this year. Once you have that feeling of gratitude in your heart, I invite you to share it with those you love and make this holiday season what it is really about . . . gratitude, love, feeling the fullness of life and sharing it with others.
When you have gratitude, you connect with your own heart and remember your true nature which is love and bliss. May you tap into your inner bliss this holiday season and unlock the fullness of your life!
